A2 portrait cable centres ( 454mm ) This light comes complete with a transformer, 2 transformer connectors to connect the transformer to the cables or rods and 2x a 50 watt spot lamps.

Cable & Rod Lighting Installation Instructions
Step 1: = The Light(s) comes complete with the spotlight(s) + crossbar + transformer
* Need Cable and Acrylics? - Make sure you view our "Cables Section"
* Need Rods and Acrylics? - Make sure you view our "Rod Section"

Step 2: = Once you have decided on where the light is to be fitted, remove the allen screw from the connection on the light and attach to the cable or rod

Step 3: = When you have levelled the light, tighten the screws

Step 4: = It is important to check that you have the correct transformer.
* A single headed light will always be 12 volt transformer.
* A double headed light will always be a 24 volt transformer.
* If uncertain, check before connecting

Step 5: = Identify the input & output leads of the transformer,
* The input lead is the one which brings the 240 volts from the mains into the transformer.
* This should be connected to a lug or fused spur

Step 6: = The output leads are 2 separate leads providing either 12 or 24 volts.
* These have to be connected to cables or rods, using the supports provided

Warnings:

1. Never connect to the top and bottom holders - always connect to the cable or rod only
2. Maximum 60 watts per pair of cables for 12 volts
3. Maximum 100 watts per pair of cables for 24 volts
4. Turn the power off before making any connections
5. Nothing metallic must cross or connect to the cables or rods, other than the lights
6. Make sure nothing metallic is in the ceiling or floor
